The Ride

Event date : 17th – 18th June 2017

Registration for this event will take place early evening on Saturday at the start venue – which is also the finish line to the challenge.

The first section of our route will be done in daylight hours and starts in the early evening with the biggest elevation of the route, over Arthur’s seat – an extinct Volcano located at the bottom of the Royal Mile which offers impressive panoramic views of the city. We’ll then cycle along the coast; the views will be fantastic as we ride into the sunset, and continue our cycling adventure!

As well as Arthur’s Seat, we’ll be taking in some of Edinburgh’s most beautiful and iconic sights en route – Holyrood Palace, Scottish Parliament Buildings, Edinburgh Castle, The Forth Bridges, to name but a few.

There is a water stop along the route serving complimentary hot & cold drinks, snack bars, water, fruit and soup – so take a break, rest the legs, and re-energise before hopping back onto the saddle to finish the ride.

After covering 50 miles, we finish our challenge in the early hours of Sunday morning, pedalling triumphantly across the finish line to claim our finishers medal, and enjoy a well deserved drink and some cake.

With only 400 places available, places are allocated on a first come, first served basis so REGISTER TODAY!
